The JK/SK class has been learning about our Traditional Canadian Celebration of Thanksgiving. We had class discussions about what it means to give thanks and what we can thank God for. They learned a new song:
Thank you God
Thank you God for the world so sweet,
Thank you God for the food we eat,
Thank you God for the birds that sing
Thank you God for EVERYTHING!
Students made their own THANK YOU cards to read at this year’s Thanksgiving celebration. We also learned how to say Thank You in different languages. Students who speak more than one language were able to teach the class how to say thank you in their native language.
