In order to give back to the community, a group of Guiding Light Academy students took part in the 4th Annual Village Litter Blitz. The day started with a meeting with Councillor George Carlson and his team. The students were given orange vests, garbage pickers and gloves. The children walked around Streetsville picking up trash that people discarded. It was a rewarding experience that taught the children to respect their environment.
